Abstract

When the external excitation frequencies are equal or close to the natural frequencies of coal mine mobile refuge chamber, the resonance will occur, which will do great harm to the refuge chamber. In order to improve the structure safety of refuge chamber, two different structure finite element models of coal mine mobile refuge chamber were established by HyperWorks. The frequency and mode shape of the first six natural frequencies are obtained through modal analysis. By analyzing the first six natural frequencies and mode shape of these two different structure of refuge chambers, it shows that the natural frequencies of ten cabins of refuge chamber are higher than the five cabins of refuge chamber and the stiffness is better. The result provides some basis for further design.
