Abstract
A method to get the aerodynamic parameters of new types of guided projectiles was put forward, based on a known type with analogous configuration (by means of comparing calculation and flight tests). Jameson finite volume method is applied to solve the flow field of Euler sets of equations. An equally spaced Cartesian mesh structure is adopted to do the aerodynamic calculation. Both the aerodynamic identification technology and the match calculation method are used to calculate the drag coefficient of the type II guided projectile according to the comparison flight test. The result shows that different methods can lead to the same conclusion. The method can be used in the development of a series of guided projectiles.
