Abstract
A mesh-based scattering center modeling approach is proposed for efficient electromagnetic simulation of targets with locally dynamic components. Starting from the target mesh file, an initial scattering center model is constructed under highfrequency approximation, where each mesh element is treated as an equivalent scattering contributor. Motion states are selectively introduced to specific target components through rigid-body kinematic transformations, enabling time-varying electromagnetic response simulation without repeated full-wave computation. The method is validated using a small propellerdriven aircraft, where radar cross section (RCS) is evaluated at multiple time instants under different motion states. The results demonstrate that the proposed approach can effectively capture RCS variations induced by local motion while maintaining high computational efficiency and physical interpretability.
