Abstract
There are some limitations in achieving a large scale digital library integration with existing conventional approaches of digital library interoperability. Thereby, this paper presents a new framework of DLs interoperability, digital library grid, which combines grid technology with OAI-PMH framework. Then, some crucial problems under grid environment are analyzed and designed, such as discovering, harvesting and re-building of metadata resources. Through prototype designing, the DL Grid system elementally realizes the information sharing of digital libraries basing on integrated metadata resources.
