Abstract

In order to obtain the roll angle of projectile to improve shooting accuracy of high-speed roll guided munitions, the attitude measurement system was designed by using two micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) accelerometers. The configuration of inertial sensors was studied. The measurement equation and state equation based on "current" statistical model of system were set up. An improved adaptive UKF algorithm was proposed, the adaptive velocity estimation model (AVE) was adopted to achieve the adaptive adjustment of the process noise covariance matrix for enhancing the precision of the filter, and the minimal skew simplex sampling strategy was adopted to reduce sigma points for enhancing calculation efficiency. The simulation of three-axis electric-driven flight turntable shows that this method has characteristics of high accuracy and fast convergence with a high value in engineering.
