Abstract

Main auxiliary joint distributed array radar can form a larger aperture by using a smaller number of unit radars, so as to obtain spatial high-resolution characteristics. However, in the case of mainlobe jamming, its output performance will be greatly affected. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a spatial polarization domain joint mainlobe jamming suppression method for distributed main auxiliary joint array radar. Firstly, the spatial polarization steering vector is constructed by using the different polarization characteristics of main array and auxiliary array. Then, the jamming polarization state and direction are estimated by using the spatial polarization steering vector and the received signal. Finally, the minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion is used to calculate the beamforming weight vector for mainlobe jamming suppression. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and advantages over traditional beamforming methods.
