Abstract

A light beam transformation system based on liquid crystal spatial light modulators (LC-SLM) is built. A method is described to achieve the specific beam intensity distribution by programing. The grayscale raster images of blazed grating, Fresnel lens, ring focusing lens, cylindrical lens, apertures and diffraction modulation board are written by MATLAB so as to load them on the LC-SLM. And light beam transformation is realized successfully.
