Abstract
A new type of laser pumped (LD) pumped dual-frequency solid-state lasers of 0-1.5 GHz frequency-difference and CW output power of 15 mW was reported. A Fabry-Perot etalon was used as mode selector in the cavity to obtain single-frequency oscillation. Two QWPs were inserted into the laser cavity to cause the intrinsic frequency split. Dual-frequency output laser with continuously tunable frequency-difference was realized. The eigen frequency and frequency difference were calculated by means of Jones matrix.
