Koch-based circular CPW fed dual UWB antenna

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

This paper presents the design of Koch based circular dual band UWB antenna. The actual dual band is obtained by modifying the antenna ground plane. The two bands are (0.95GHz-2.5GHz) and (3.1-20GHz) respectively, the first band covers various mobile communication services such as DCS, IMT-2000, UMTS, WLAN, GPS, 3G, 4G, LTE and the second one finds its application in UWB and satellite TV in Ku band 11.7-14.2GHz, three band can also be achieved, details of the proposed antenna design approach and simulated results are presented, CST MWS2012 is used as simulator tool.
