N2 - From the perspective of process dimension and object dimension of tooling design, this paper constructs multidimensional tooling knowledge components, realizes effective organization, management and use of tooling design process knowledge, and clarifies the method of internal operation mode of knowledge components. It mainly includes knowledge of design rules, parameterization, 3D model and other related design resources in the field of tooling design. According to different types of knowledge, using a structured method to adopt to organize rules, defining the application steps of knowledge in knowledge components, and completing the operation mode of specific design tasks. Realize the automatic reasoning process of decision-making and reduce the human intervention in the process of tooling design. During the operation of knowledge components, the parameter values entered by designers directly determine the operation results of knowledge components. Realize the process integration from user input requirements to output results, which reduces the human-computer interaction during the task execution inside the knowledge component, thus supporting the operation of the intelligent design framework tooling.
