Abstract

Kinetic parameters are critical to design reactors and system processes. In this study, the total reaction rate constant, kovof an EAE-1DMA2P system at various molar ratios (0.5/2.5, 1/2, 1.5/1.5, 2/1, and 2.5/0.5) was obtained by using a stirred cell reactor at 298–313 K. The second-order reaction rate constant k2of EAE and 1DMA2P was obtained by building a complex numerical model, and the Arrhenius equation was used to fit k2. The calculated k2is in good agreement with the experimental k2obtained, and the AARD of k2,EAEand k2,1DMA2Pare 1.02 and 2.46%, respectively. The activation energies of EAE and 1DMA2P are 28.38 and 55.33 kJ/mol, respectively. The physical solubility of N2O in the EAE-1DMA2P system was measured in a stirred cell reactor. The physical solubility of CO2in the EAE-1DMA2P system was obtained by “N2O analogy method”. The CO2diffusion coefficient (DCO2,) in the EAE-1DMA2P blended solvent was calculated. It is proven that the kinetic model has a good ability to predict the dynamic data of an EAE-1DMA2P system. The rate constant k2and activation energy Eawere analyzed and compared with different amine systems, and the examined blended solvents exhibited faster reaction kinetics and lower reaction activation energy. The complex blended amine system has excellent kinetics and industrial application prospects.
