Abstract

Ni60A/WC-Co12 is a bearing coating material with good tribological properties, which can effectively reduce bearing surface wear. To study the anti-wear mechanism of Ni60A/WC-Co12 as coating material, five different Ni60A/WC-Co12 composite coatings were prepared, and the anti-wear mechanism of the composite coatings was studied. The results show that the composite coating of 30%Ni60A/70%WC-Co12 has the best wear resistance. It is further proved that this is because there is a transfer film in the friction process, which further promotes the transfer of abrasive particles in the friction process, thus avoiding the occurrence of abrasive wear. The research further provides theory and support for improving bearing performance and prolonging bearing life.
