Abstract

We discuss the transparency phenomenon induced by metamaterials. The multilayered slabs can be made transparent based on the tunneling effect. The multilayered sphere, coated spheroid, and particulate composite can be designed to be "invisible" using the "neutral inclusion" concept. Some numerical results have been given to verify these ideas.
