Abstract
For the shortcomings of one-beam fragment focusing warhead, a new type of dual-focusing fragment warhead was presented and investigated from theoretical calculation, numerical simulation and experiment. The scattering process of fragments was numerically simulated with the finite element code-LS-DY-NA3D, and theoretical formulas of velocity and scattering angle of fragments were presented. The theoretical and numerical results are found to be in a good agreement with the experimental data, so the theoretical formulas and numerical method presented are reasonable and helpful for engineering design.
