Abstract
The advancement of technology has led to intermittent faults (IFs) posing a serious problem for system safety and maintenance costs. Though fault diagnosis technology has progressed, there is limited research on diagnosing IFs. This paper introduces the concept of IFs, presents the challenges and current research, discusses diagnosis technology from different perspectives, and aims to provide a reference for future research in this area.
