Abstract

This paper presents a scheme of electrically large mono-pulse circularly polarized array, which works at Ka-band. A hybrid algorithm for electrically large array design is also studied. One kind of patch power divider of high power dividing ratio, which can be satisfied with array weighing method, is designed and calculated. The utilizing of planar sum/difference network in the design reduces the size of antenna effectively. The computation results achieve the desired performance of the antenna, which are also verified by experiment.
