Abstract

Studies the main influence of manufacturing characteristics (site error and longitudinal form error of gears) on the whole microminature mechanism. Combining the dimension driven modeling method and FEM, the integral simulation platform of the microminiature mechanical system based on manufacturing characteristics is established with the Pro/E, ANSYS, VC, and SQL server. Moreover, the extremum of two errors are obtained with the platform. Because of the establishment of the platform, the computational accuracy and efficiency are improved effectively so as to put the integral designing into effect.
