Abstract

The distribution of welding residual stress of the complex rorating body and the effect of post-weld heat treatment on stress relief were investigated using ultrasonic critical refraction longitudinal wave method. It is found that the ultrasonic critical refraction longitudinal wave method can efficiently and accurately detect the welding residual stress of the complex rorating body, the welding residual stress of the complex rorating body cannot be eliminated after post-weld heat treatment, and the heat treatment process is not ideal for the homogenization, it is necessary to combine with other stress relief methods for further reduction to ensure the safe service of the complex rorating body.
