Abstract

To study the influence of plume flow on aerostat's charging, mathematical model of the plume flow and geometric model of some type of guided missiles are established, and plume flow's effects on some type of guided missile's charging properties are analyzed with the help of simulation. The results indicated that plume flow's effects on aerostat's charging concentrate on the tail fin and nozzle, the particle diameter and charge of the soot carbon particle influence on aerostat's charge quantity and polarity.
