Abstract

Generally speaking, Chinese residents' nutrient is widely imbalanced. Ordinary people have difficulty in understanding and applying most individual diet assessment methods. To solve above problem, a computable and comprehensible method based on diet balance index (DBI) and nutrition curve is present to comprehensively assess individual diet quality. Combining the diet structure scoring method based on DBI and energy scoring method based on nutrition curve, this paper introduces energy weight coefficient to build individual diet assessment model. Experiments show that the accuracy rate using the model for diet assessment is 90%. Combined with early warning model of high-risk groups of chronic diseases, the scores of energy and diet structure index could constitute a close-loop mechanism and provide effective diet intervention method for disease early detection, intervention and recovery.
