Abstract

The hydrothermal reaction of V₂O₅, MoO₃, NiCl₂·6H₂O, enMe (1,2-diaminopropane) and H₂O produces [{(H₂O)Ni(enMe)₂Mo^V₄Mo ^VI₄V^IV₈(V^VO ₄)O₄₀}₂{Ni(enMe)₂}][Ni(enMe) ₂]₄·8H₂O, which is the first compound containing polyanion dimer linked by transition metal coordination fragment. The structure of this compound was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction, EPR and IR analysis.
