Abstract

This paper studies the performance of a flexible humidity sensor comprising a graphene oxide (GO)/WS2 composite film. The humidity sensing thin film of GO/WS2 was deposited on the flexible PI substrate via a facile drop-coating technique. The humidity sensor fabricated using a GO/WS2 composite exhibited optimal performance when the volume ratio of GO to WS2 was 1:4. Specifically, as relative humidity (RH) changed from 11% RH to 59% RH, the responsivity of the device was 73% with a sensitivity of 1.52%/%RH. Furthermore, the response time and recovery time of the device are 13.1 seconds and 7.3 seconds, respectively, with excellent stability. The results of this study suggest that WS2/GO composite is a promising humidity sensing film for the development of next-generation high-performance humidity sensors.
