Abstract

A new high-resolution reconstruction algorithm is proposed based on the downsampling model. Comparing with the pixel obtained from cubic spline interpolation, the errors generated by microscanning system can be compensated. The simulations and experiments are conducted. Our main results that the image reconstruction degradation due to the errors generated by the microscanning are reduced. The technique can improve the thermal microscope imaging quality effectively and has a strong practical value. The technique can also be applied to other electro-optical imaging system and improve its resolution.
