High pressure common rail system match for a heavy duty turbocharged diesel engine

Abstract

To match the high pressure common rail injection technology to the BF6M1015C turbocharged diesel engine, the high pressure common rail system and its electronically controlled system are designed, the ECU program is modular structure. The matching between common rail pressure and the pump parameters and between common rail pressure and injection parameters are researched on the pump experiment plant, the high pressure pump and injectors are driven by different driving pulse width. Results show the high pressure common rail system design is available, the pressure fluctuation range is in 5MPa and the pressure built is rapidly.
