Abstract

The Cr, Tm, Ho: YAG laser device was provided for co-axial positioning of two laser beams along a single axis. The output of each laser rod is combined in turn and interleaved into a single output beam by using a rotatable reflector. The rotary rate of the stepping motor and the pump currents of two lasers are controlled by a single chip microcomputer. The output power is 35.4 W and the end of fiber is 22.7 W when input pump energy is 100 J and repetition frequency is 20 Hz. The coupling efficiency is 64%. This method is not only suitable for the same wavelengths, but also suitable for two different wavelengths.
