Abstract

This paper investigates a field-strength enhancement method based on the superposition of dual and triple double-ridged horn antennas for electromagnetic compatibility testing under high field strength. A simulation model is established over the 2-7 GHz frequency band, with an input power of 100 W applied to each antenna. Results show that the dual-horn configuration increases the peak field at 1 m from 1200 V/m to 2100 V/m in the 2-3 GHz band and maintains 1000-1300 V/m at 6-7 GHz. The triple-antenna array further confirms the scalability of the superposition effect. A stable high field region of 1200-1400 V/m is obtained at the target distance, demonstrating that antenna superposition provides a cost-effective alternative for improving f field strength without relying solely on higher-power amplifiers.
