Abstract
In order to improve the efficiency of DC/DC converter, a 12 V/24 V DC/DC converter system with dual close-loop is designed based on technology of PFC (Power Factor Correction), which introduces both current and voltage feedbacks and adopts measures to reduce power consumption. The system stability and efficiency curves are simulated and the HW circuit is tested. Results show that the designed system is stable and its efficiency within stable working range reaches 85.0%-88.7%, about 3% higher than that of DC/DC converters alike. The output voltage ripple of 12 V converter system is about 23 mV, and that of 24 V is about 30 mV. The designed converter is especially suitable for low-consumption switching power supply and middle power installations.
