Abstract

This paper focuses on hierarchical fusion estimation for a multi-sensor networked system subject to transmission delays and packet dropouts. In the hierarchical fusion estimation, an asynchronous sampling scheme is utilized to reduce networked transmission burdens and communication energy. A hierarchical fusion estimation method is proposed to improve estimation performance with transmission delays and packet dropouts. A numerical example is shown to illustrate effectiveness of the developed techniques.
