Abstract

We report a heterogeneous ASON test-bed composed of two different types of OXC. A connection control interface in each node hides the architecture difference for control plane. A unified control plane as well as a friendly network manager runs in the heterogeneous domain to demonstrate establishment, release and recovery of virtual wavelength paths.
