Abstract

The architecture of ScopeWork system was introduced and the defining and scheduling mechanism of user task was discussed. User task is one of the applications in WFMS whose handling method plays an important role to the running efficiency of a WFMS. The method that handles user task differs from the handling methods of transactional task and general non-transactional task. It is related to the performers of tasks and the task assignment among them. ScopeWork is a prototype system of WFMS that supports CIMS complicated applications. It discusses the special handling mechanism not only for transactional workflow but also for non-transactional workflow.
