Abstract
In current work, for improving the photocatalytic efficiency of BaTiO3, a series of BaTiO3/Graphene oxide (GO) nanocomposites with different mass ratio of GO were prepared via a convenient freeze-drying approach. The enhanced photocatalytic activity was confirmed by the degradation of Methylene blue (MB) under the irradiation of Xe light. In comparison with other nanocomposites, the composite with 80% of GO exhibits relatively higher degradation rate of 67% in 150 min. The research here rendered useful information for understanding the mechanism of this improved photocatalytic behavior. It was indicated that the combination of ferroelectric materials and two-dimensional materials as a high-efficiency photo-catalyst is of great significance.
