Abstract

A relatively simple method of solving the inverse problem by using fuzzy rule based model of a multi-input and multi-output system is presented. It utilizes the concept of grid-type fuzzy model by use of complete set of rules and numerical outputs (consequents). Then with a given system outputs a set of so called dominant rules is extracted as possible solutions. They can be used further in analyzing the possible actions of the system inputs. Two examples show the applicability of the method proposed.
