title = "Functional Safety Verification and Validation Platform for Electric Drive System Based on X-in-the-Loop",
abstract = "The electric drive system (EDS) is the important parts of the electric vehicles (EV), which is very important for the safety of EV. The primary purpose of EDS functional safety design is to prevent unintended speed change or component breakdown caused by overvoltage/overcurrent, overheating and other reasons. According to the ISO26262 standard, this paper introduces a functional safety verification and validation platform for EDS based on X-in-the-loop in China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd (CATARC). And the fault injection test method based on power-level hardware-in-the-loop (PHIL) as the example of functional safety verification and validation on the right side of V-model development process is also described in detail. Combined with test cases and results, the EDS fault injection test method proposed in this paper is an effective means of functional safety test.",
