Abstract
We prove a Freidlin-Wentzell large deviation principle for multi-dimensional stochastic differential equations with non-Lipschitz coefficients and apply it to the Brownian motion on the diffeomorphism group of the disc constructed recently by Airault, Malliavin and Thalmaier.
