Abstract

For bistatic synthetic aperture radar (BiSAR) work mode with parallel flight path and same velocity of transmitter and receiver platform, a fast raw signal simulation algorithm for extended scenes was proposed. The exact transfer function and space variant phase error items were numerically computed in order to maintain the phase precision. The algorithm has high computation efficiency by using FFT. Through using real monostatic SAR raw image data, the raw signal of BiSAR was simulated, and the algorithm was validated through analyzing imaging results.
