Abstract

A method of fabricating an off-axis, lightweihting aspheric mirror is described, and its final results is given. The rectangle aperture of the mirror is 590mm X 210mm, and its lightweighting rate is 50%. The final accuracy reached up to λ/40 RMS, where λ equals to 632.8nm.
