Abstract

In the present paper, the cook-off tests of were designed and carried out to study the thermal safety of RDX explosives. The thermal reactions of RDX explosives with the different environment temperature, the density and the size of charge are analyzed. The results show that the thermal safety of RDX depends on the together results of the environment temperature, the density and the size of charge at the lower the environment temperature. At the high environment temperature, thermal safety of RDX depends on the environment temperature mainly.
