Abstract

In order to damage a power system and destroy outdoor insulated equipments in war time, inspired by the phenomenon of polluted insulator flashover, a new concept of principle about the soft-killing of anti-power system was introduced. High voltage flashover experiment of typical insulator coated with conductive liquid was carried on with special experimental equipment. After a series of research, primary laws of the conductive liquid distribution and deposition density influence on flashover voltage are revealed. Results indicated that the flashover mechanism of polluted insulator applied on the power damage is feasible.
