Abstract

An experimental research is made on the transfer characteristics of a tire under the action of a time - varying wheel load and constant side - slip angle. The transfer function of the side force, aligning torque and camber torque to the wheel load are measured with various tire parameters. Influences from the mass of the test stand, the measuring hub and wheel rim are taken into consideration in data processing.
