Abstract

In order to deal with the problems of formaldehyde pollution, experimental research on removal of formaldehyde with discharge plasma was conducted. The effects of experimental conditions of electric field intensity, gas flow rate, initial concentration, fillings on removal efficiency of formaldehyde were investigated. The results show that the removal efficiency of formaldehyde increases with the increase of electric field intensity, and decreases with the increase of gas flow rate and intake concentration. Under high electric field, the reactor with fillings has higher efficiency than the reactor without fillings.
