abstract = "A device for measuring the contact pressure between the sealing ring and the bore was developed. The contact pressure of the whole circle of a sealing ring was measured and analyzed. Based on finite element method, the modal frequency and modal shape of the sealing ring under contact pressure were obtained. Then numerical investigations of the sealing ring vibration behavior in the frequency range of external excitation were carried out. The results show that the radial response of the sealing ring under specific exciting frequency may lead to the leakage of oil.",
