Abstract

An analytical approach to compatibility evaluation of energetic materials based on adiabatic calorimetry is presented in this paper. T0 and mm/td are used as the criteria to characterize the compatibility nature of RDX, ammonium nitrate and their additives in this new approach, and corresponding theoretical analysis are also given. Experimental results show in good agreement with the results obtained from DSC measurement.
