Abstract

In this paper, we present a method to estimate frequency rate of the Cross-Range reference signal of SAR. The method is used in the deception jamming to SAR primarily. We set up a model of pulse signal intercepted by monostatic radar receiver on the ground. With the model, a novel way is given to find out a phase sequence without phase wrapping in the case of that there is a jitter in the rising edge of trigger signal for sampling. Then the classical polynominal coefficient estimation method is used to estimate the frequency rate from the unwrapping phase sequence. Software simulation results are given. And the results indicate that the method is corrected and accurate in estimating the frequency rate if there is enough signal-to-noise ratio and pulse number.
