Abstract

Evaluating the emission performance of a diesel engine, ESC testing is requisite. Traditional equipments are inefficient, special equipments are relatively expensive. In order to solve this problem, the author processed independent equipment into the node of a distributed network and developed an ESC testing system through virtual instrument technology. This system was used in the 4JB1 diesel engine calibration experiments. The results illustrated that ESC testing system realized automatization of the testing process, and its function of the data analysis could help the workers to optimize the calibration parameters.
