Abstract
A planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) with a T-shaped ground plane is presented. The measured results of the proposed antenna show that by using a T-shaped ground plane, the bandwidth of a PIFA can be broadened and the operation frequency of the PIFA can be reduced. The relative measured bandwidth of the proposed antenna operating at 2.05 GHz band is 16.6%.
