Abstract

This paper proposes an energy management strategy for hybrid electric vehicles using domain control under vehicle-road-cloud communication architecture. Representative driving cycles can be generated under this communication framework and are used for power split optimization using a reinforcement learning algorithm. Simulation is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results show the proposed method could achieve desirable fuel-economy performance by coordinating the power between battery and engine.
