Abstract

According to the non-equilibrium thermodynamics and dissipative structure theory, the energy dissipation rate equation is deduced for detonation reaction zone where is the local equilibrium with heat conduction, viscous flow, as well as multi-component reaction simultaneously. Due to the case of the reaction zone exists in a variety of dissipation mechanisms, the chemical reaction was taken as the main relaxation process, and chemical reaction in the detonation was determined by the free energy and dissipation function. Combined with the variation method and maximum principle in optimal control theory, the conditions of chemical reaction were obtained to make the fastest dissipation rate reach equilibrium.
