Abstract

A 20.2 W laser-diode-end-pumped Nd:YVO₄ slab laser with a hybrid resonator at 1342 nm was demonstrated. The slope efficiency and optical-to-optical conversation efficiency were 30% and 23%, respectively. At output power of 16 W, the M² factor in stable direction was 2.3, and in the unstable direction was 1.2.
