Abstract

In order to reduce the semi prefabricated RC frame component weight, improving the ductility and durability of RC components, the U-shaped ultra high performance cementitious composites shell with combines toughening by steel wire mesh and steel fibre is used in the permanent formwork design and a new type of reinforced concrete composite beam is formed. ln order to investigate the influence of U-shaped UHPCC permanent formwork on bending behavior of reinforced concrete beams, this paper carried out large scale bending test of the reinforced concrete with U type UHPCC permanent formwork and the bending test of contrast reinforced concrete beam is carried out simultaneously. According to the test results, the effects of the U-shaped UHPCC permanent formwork on the flexural behaviors and failure mode of the reinforced concrete beams are studied.
