Abstract
The technology of antenna near-field measurement in time domain can measure the broad-band fields and radiation fields of antenna excited by short-duration time pulse. Compared with frequency-domain measurement technology, one of its unique characteristic is the application of time-gate technique for signal processing. On basis of the time-domain experimental system built, the effect of time-gate on antenna planar near-field measurement in time domain is analyzed. The measured results of antenna patterns at three frequency bands and analysis conclusions are presented in this paper.
